Jo is passionate about yoga, health and wellbeing. She discovered the healing effects of yoga after it cured her of chronic fatigue in 2007. Since then, she has studied yoga in India, Australia, Switzerland and the UK. She takes inspiration from any form of yoga which emphasizes expanding awareness, particularly through body alignment. From this type of training she believes you can become more consciously aware of all aspects of your life, which then creates a powerful place for transformation. Typical day on retreat:
The programme is specifically designed with each day offering a slightly different structure. However all sessions are optional and guests are welcome to take a break from one if they choose.
07:45 - Awakening Yoga flow to rise with guided morning meditation
09:00 - Nourish yourselves with a healthy breakfast
Rest & Digest
10:00 - Scenic mountain hike along one of Verbier’s most beautiful trails
Optional paragliding flight!
13:00 - Picnic lunch by a lake (optional lake dip)
14:00 - Self care: Rest & Relaxation (time for reading, journaling, sunbathing, ambling around Verbier town or treat yourself to a spa treatment)
15:00 - Weighted strength & cardio circuits
16:00 - Self-care: Rest & Relaxation (complimentary massages)
19:00 - Enjoy a relaxed & social dinner in the chalet
