Fundamentals

Pilates classes teach you how to correctly use your core muscles to provide stability and strength when moving, hugely valuable for all sports and if you are recovering from an injury.

Focus is on correct postural alignment, with controlled breathing techniques, coordination and precise usage of deep core abdominal muscles. You may use props such as foam rollers, pilates balls, rings and bands.

Expect to feel the burn in each class, to develop strength and control and to feel longer and leaner after just a few sessions.

PILATES REFORMER

Pilates reformer machines are large frames with a gliding sleigh which is moved by your body against the resistance of springs. It is incredibly effective for injury rehabilitation and can be used to strengthen the entire body as it can target super fine muscular imbalances in the body. The machines will help to develop stability, flexibility, coordination, improve posture, strength, balance and breath. The machines are suitable for any level. We have two reformer machines so this is only available as private duet or individual sessions.
